Synthetic chemicals in food system are creating a massive health burden: report

The substances that underpin the food system — including PFAS and phthalates — are driving increased rates of cancer, neurodevelopmental conditions and infertility, amounting in a burden of as much as US$2.2 trillion per year, according to a new report drawing upon the work of dozens of scientists.
