If Ontario Premier Doug Ford has his way, there will be no inquiry into Toronto’s Eglinton Crosstown debacle: 19 kilometres of light rail, roughly half underground and half at grade, for a cost of roughly $13 billion, over 15 years of construction. I, on the other hand, can scarcely think of anything more befitting an inquiry.
